Super B-Factory Meeting at LNF (Frascati)

11-12 November 2005

The objective of the meeting is to discuss on physics and

accelerator issues for a Super B-Factory

To register for the meeting, please send an email to:

Marica Biagini(marica.biagini@lnf.infn.it)

stating if you plan to attend and which Hotel, from the list below, you booked.

Please note that you should contact the hotel directly (see below) to make your reservation.

For questions, comments and suggestion on the program, please contact the Meeting organization:

David Hitlin(hitlin@slac.stanford.edu)
John Seeman(seeman@slac.stanford.edu)
Francesco Forti(forti@pi.infn.it)
Pantaleo Raimondi(pantaleo.raimondi@lnf.infn.it)
Marica Biagini(marica.biagini@lnf.infn.it)

Please note: Since the second meeting day is Saturday, when the laboratory is normally open for the accelerator shifts only, a pass is necessary for all the participants. To get this pass and reserve the Saturday lunch we need to communicate as soon as possible to the Administration the number of attendees and their names.

How to get to LNF

Travelling by plane:

From Fiumicino Airport to Roma -Termini central railway station: departures to Termini from 06:37 a.m. to 11:37 p.m. Trains nearly every 30 minutes; journey takes about 35 minutes. Tickets are available at the Airport station and cost 9,50. From Termini central railway station to Frascati, see section “Travelling by train” below.

From Ciampino Airport to Frascati take a cab (average time 20 minutes, fare approx. 30,00 euro) or a bus (see section below for a timetable) to the Ciampino Railway Station and then a train to Frascati or Tor Vergata (see section below). Most of these trains coming from Rome stop in Ciampino.

Taxi fare (white licensed cabs strongly advised) from the Airport to Frascati downtown amounts approximately to 70,00 euro.

Travelling by train:

Frascati downtown can be conveniently reached from Termini central railway station by train. Trains nearly every hour; journey takes about 40 minutes. Tickets are available at the Station and cost 1,70 euro.

Also the train to Tor Vergata stops very near to LNF (see section “To get to the LNF” below).

Alternatively, from Termini, take the subway Line "A" (trips every 7 minutes - closes at 11:30 p.m.) and get off at Anagnina Station (terminal). Then, take a CO.TRAL. bus (blue buses) to Frascati - Rocca Priora (nearly every 30 minutes). Ask the driver the closest stop to your Hotel.

Taxi fare (white licensed cabs strongly advised) from Termini to Frascati downtown approximately 52,00 euro.

Ciampino Airport --> Ciampino Railway Station (Bus Schiaffini, ticket 1,00 euro directly on board)

** only on Sundays or holidays

Travelling by car:

Take the ring highway "Grande Raccordo Anulare", Exit 21-22 Tuscolana - Anagnina (see map). Take the national road Tuscolana (direction Frascati) following it up to Frascati downtown (approx. Km 10).

To get to the Frascati National Laboratories:

There is a new railway station close to LNF.
Trains from Termini to Tor Vergata Staation: LNF is nearby, 100 m uphill on
E.Fermi street. Tickets are available at Termini Station and cost 2,00 euro.

There is also a bus service provided by ENEA and INFN from
Rome (Terminal Subway Line "A") to LNF and viceversa, Monday to Friday only.
For further information, see the timetable.
