XI Workshop on Resistive Plate Chambers and Related Detectors



fotoaereaThe workshop will take place at the Frascati National Laboratories (LNF) of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN). Plenary sessions will be held in the Auditorium "Bruno Touschek", located in the High Energy building (Bldg. n. 36).

Attendees will have at their disposal a Computer Room (n. T73) in the same building. A wireless ethernet connectivity is available (standard IEEE 802.11b). See Internet Access for information about how to connect.

The Frascati National Laboratories are about 2 km from the center of Frascati (Frascati map).

VillaAldobrandiniFrascati is located on a pleasant hill, 20 km south-east of Rome and about 40 km west of Fiumicino International Airport. It is particularly renowned for its beautiful villas and quality wines. It is part of the famous "Castelli Romani", small towns in the south-east of Rome, well known for their gastronomical, naturalistic and historical interest.


Participants travelling by plane may reach the Frascati Laboratories by train or by taxi, from the airports of Fiumicino and Ciampino. Detailed information on public transportations can be found here.
