How to get here



Frascati is located 20 km south-east of Rome and about 40 km west of Fiumicino Airport.

The Frascati National Laboratories are about 2 km from the center of Frascati (Frascati map).

TRAVELLING BY: 

AIRPLANE:
In Rome there are two Airports: Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" and Ciampino "Giovan Battista Pastine".

From both Airports public transportations are available.

TRAIN:
From Fiumicino Airport to "Roma Termini" central railway station there is a direct train "Leonardo Express" every half an hour; the journey takes about 35 minutes; tickets are available at the Airport station and cost 14,00 Euro. To check time table click here.

From Ciampino Airport "Giovan Battista Pastine" take a bus Schiaffini Travel to reach the Ciampino Railway Station.

Both from Roma Termini and Ciampino Railway Stations take a train to Frascati or to Tor Vergata Stations. More details are in the section "Travelling by Train" (see below)

BUS:

TAXI:
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the Airport to Frascati (licensed white cabs are strongly advised). From Fiumicino the distance is about 30 km and the taxi fare amounts to approximately 70,00 Euro. From Ciampino the taxi fare is approximately 40,00 Euro.
