The main unix hosts of the computing service, dxcalc.lnf.infn.it and axcalc.lnf.infn.it, can be reached from outside lnf using ssh. The current version of ssh used by dxcalc and axcalc is OpenSSH_3.5p1 (Protocol version: SSH-1.99).
For security reasons no telnet connection with any host of LNF LAN can be permitted from the global internet, and only central systems of the Computing Service can accept ssh connection.
Anyone logged on a machine with AFS (even outside LNF ) can find ssh client by typing the following command: /afs/infn.it/system/ssh/1.2.26/bin/ssh
