Transnational Access to Research Infrastructures
"Study of Strongly Interacting Matter" (acronym: "HadronPhysics2")
 

The Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati (LNF) of Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), Italy, have been financed by the European Commission to give access to researchers from 01/01/2009 to 31/12/2011, whithin the Integrating Activity "Strongly Interacting Matter" (acronym: "HadronPhysics2"). This contract includes the opportunity for European research groups.


The research teams eligible to apply for EC founded access to LNF are those that conduct their research activity in the EU Member States*, other than Italy, or in the Associated States* (see WHO CAN APPLY).

Proposals can be submitted by using the LNF-TARI Application Form in which the research project that the group intends to carry out at the LNF, the number of researchers involved, the duration of the project and the research facility of interest, must be described.

Submitted proposals will be evaluated by the Users Selection Panel (USP) composed of international experts.
The USP bases its selection on scientific merit and following the Article III.3.6 of Annex III of the Grant Agreement.

The Call for Proposals will be issued twice per year and publicized through scientific magazines, in the CERN Courier, on the LNF web site and with the tools used by the HadronPhysics2 Project to disseminate information about the activities.
