Standard KID modules

KID modular structure allows for a variety of modules to be used at the same time by an application. Several standard modules are present in the KID package, but any user-provided module can be easily linked in.

The following KID modules come with the standard library:

• dummy - A dummy module.
• ybos - Read events from a YBOS file.
• spy - Read events via the spy library.
• db... - Database-related modules.
• remote - Remote access module.
• try - Probe several alternative sources.
• merge - Read events from several sources.
• spyDAQ - Read events from KLOE DAQ circular buffers.
• env - Get the KID URI from an environment variable.

Note that only a subset of all the standard modules are supported by the remote KID daemon, used by the remote access module:

• dummy - A dummy module.
• ybos - Read events from a YBOS file.
• spy - Read events via the spy library.
• try - Probe several alternative sources.
• merge - Read events from several sources.
