version 4.08/00
Dear colleagues:
There is a new version of the FINUDA software, namely version 4.08/00,
which is able to reconstruct cosmic rays inside a magnetic field, and
which you will find as usual in the off-line group page:
http://fidabs.ing.unibs.it/finuda/
(the page is now visible with and without FLASH).
The two cmz files are in the MC and Reconstruction page, and a brief
description of the reconstruction of muons inside a magnetic field is in
the work in progress and achievements page, where you will find some
event displays and reconstructed momentum and mass distributions.
The description of the changes with respect to the latest version is the
following:

In case you find it useful, the Monte Carlo muon depicted in the work in
progress page uses the following as input (in $INP/fidamc.dat) :
SPAR 6. 137.01 -11.0 -11.0 92. 92.0 2.0 2.0 0.1 0.1 259.5 259.5
I take the opportunity to say goodbye and to thank all of you for a very
nice work experience these last 18 months. I'll keep an eye out for
FINUDA. A risentirci!
