Vulcano, in May, can be reached by hydrofoil from Milazzo, Messina and Reggio Calabria (Reggio Calabria can be reached by plane), and by boat from Milazzo and Napoli. Milazzo can be reached by bus from Catania airport and Reggio Calabria airport. The main ship companies navigating the Aeolian Islands, are:
