General Information

Vulcano is one of the Eolian islands, which are noteworthy not only for their beaches and natural beauty, but also for their volcanic activity (generally mild). The temperature in May is usually ranging between 17 to 25°C.

Registration Fee:
The registration fee amounts to 300.00 Euro (only cash payments in Euro are accepted). It includes a copy of the proceedings, coffee breaks, social activities and entertainments.
No supports are available for participants.

Accommodation:
The Workshop will be held at the EOLIAN HOTEL, facing the sea with a sandy beach.
Credit cards: Visa, Diners, AmericanExpress, Master Card.
The request of reservation must be done through the workshop registration form.

Full Board and lodging will be:
Double room - 92.00 Euro / person
Single room - 108.00 Euro / person

A shuttle bus service from the port to the Eolian and Garden hotels can be asked contacting well in advance the Eolian hotel (email eolian@eolianhotel.com, phone +39-090-9852151).

Wireless connection:
During the workshop a wireless network will be available for participants. The access will be possible by providing your computer's mac address to the secretariat desk.

Travel:
Vulcano, can be reached by hydrofoil from Milazzo, Messina, Palermo and Reggio Calabria (Reggio Calabria and Palermo can be reached by plane), and by boat from Milazzo and Napoli. Milazzo can be reached by bus from Catania airport and Reggio Calabria airport. The main ship companies navigating the Aeolian Islands, also in May, are:
