Young Researchers Workshop
The 2012 edition of the Frascati Spring School will be held jointly with the
3rd Young Researchers Workshop:
"Physics Challenges in the LHC Era
"
The Workshop will consist of a selected number of contributions from
advanced PhD students and young post-docs.
It will consist of two sessions that will take place on
Monday, May 7th and Thursday, May 10th
during the afternoon (see
Program schedule
).
The aim of the Workshop is to give young researches the opportunity
to present and discuss with their colleagues results of their research work.
A selection committee, composed by members of the Local Organizing
Committee, will select the contributions of highest scientific level.
Acceptance to present a contribution in the Young Researchers Workshop
should be regarded as a significant accomplishment.
Upon acceptance of their presentation, participants
will also be eligible for the LNF Spring School Fellowships.
Applications to give a presentation in the Young Researchers Workshop must include
- scientific/academic curriculum, including research interests
- one reference letter from their supervisor
- the title and a short abstract of the presentation
to be sent to: enrico.nardi@lnf.infn.it, with a copy to school@lnf.infn.it.
