ON YOUR ARRIVAL AT LNF

On your arrival, please, contact the Visitor's Office (from Monday to Friday 9:00-12:00/14:00-16:00, bldg. n.1) or the Exchange Program Secretary (bldg. n. 36, room B65). The Visitor's office will help you to communicate your arrival to the Police-headquarters, sending them your passport copy and visa. They will also provide you with an insurance to cover professional risks and medical cares in case of diseases and accidents requiring hospitalization.

If your stay is shorter than three months
You are requested to fill a declaration to be presented to the Police Station of Rome (Questura - Ufficio Immigrazione, via Teofilo Patini, angolo via Salviati, Tor Cervara - Tor Sapienza.).

If your stay is longer than 3 months
You are requested to apply for the "Residence Permit" (permesso di soggiorno) within eight working days from your arrival in Italy. In order to get it you need the underneath specified documentation:

• 4 passport photos;
• revenue Stamp Euro 14,62 (Marca da bollo) to be purchased at the tobacconist’s;
• photocopy of the written, printed, stamped pages of the passport together with the original passport;
• photocopy of the entry visa;
• photocopy of the invitation letter;
• declaration issued by the Visitor's Office .
