Abstract

A project for the construction of a combined bar and intereferometer GW-detector is developing by a collaboration of institutions of the Russian Academy of Science (INR (Moscow),ILP (Novosibirsk))and the Moscow University (SAI (Moscow)).The detector consists in a bar equiped with a FP optical cavity along its central axis.At low frequencies the detector is mainly acoustical ,but at high frequencies the optical part dominates.A general structure of the setup corresponds to the scheme known as a "comparison of optical standards".

A first prototype has been constructed;details of its functioning are presented as well as general informations concerning the status of the large scale project.
