The recent searches for mixing and CP violation in the D0-D0bar system realized by the two experiments BaBar and Belle are reviewed.
Different methods have been used with different sensitivity - comparing the lifetimes of D0 decays to K-pi+, K+K- and pi+pi- final states, performing a time-dependent Dalitz-plot analysis of the self-conjugate final state K0pi+pi- or analyzing the time-dependence of "wrong-sign" D0->K+pi- decays.
Evidence for D0-D0bar mixing has been reported by both the experiments and measurements of the mixing parameters Delta-m and Delta-gamma can be obtained.
No evidence of CP violation is observed.
