The shower energy is determined as follows:
(1) For all the calorimeter cells hit, a weighted energy between sides A and B is evaluated taking into account the attenuation curve depending on the hit position along the fiber direction;

(2) Neighbouring cells are grouped together to form energy clusters. The shower energy is the sum of the energies of the neighbouring cells
