Rules for the nominated speaker of a talk
The duties of the speaker designated by the KLOE policy board to represent
KLOE at a particular conference are:
1) to be ready to give the rehearsal of the talk preferably two weeks
before the talk will be given (send the file of the talk to be rehearsed to
P. Valente - or alternatively to the PB secretary - to put it on web);
2) to put the correct author list on the slides, namely
speaker's name + "on behalf of the KLOE collaboration",
i.e. quoting the KLOE collaboration (even if not explicitly listing all names);
3) to correct the talk after the rehearsal, including suggestions and comments, and send the new corrected
file to P. Valente (or alternatively to the PB secretary);
4) to inform the PB secretary after the talk is given;
5) if a written contribution has to be submitted to the conference proceedings,
to submit it to the policy board for approval
(send the paper to J.Lee-Franzini or G. Capon)
at least two weeks before the official deadline of the conference;
6) to put the correct author list on the paper according to the following specifications:
KLOE collaboration
A. Aloisio(Na), F. Ambrosino(Na), A. Antonelli(LNF) .......
...........................................................
(presented by "speaker's name")
and not
"speaker's name" for the KLOE collaboration
or similar ones.
In order to save space, the full collaboration list can be quoted
in a footnote:
KLOE collaboration (*)
(presented by "speaker's name")
(*) A. Aloisio(Na), F. Ambrosino(Na), A. Antonelli(LNF)......
.............................................................
The updated KLOE author list
must be the one available on web at the
moment of writing. One should avoid to copy the author list from
old papers.
7) to send the paper in final form (the one submitted to the conference) to the PB secretary;
8) to inform the PB secretary when and where the paper is finally published.
