Rules for approval of new KLOE results presentation/publication
Updated on December 6th, 2004 : see rule #10
- before being presented to an external conference/workshop/seminar a
physics analysis must be presented and discussed in the proper
Working Group (WG) and in the analysis meetings and then finally approved
at a general KLoe meeting (in case of time urgency the approval could
be given at an analysis meeting).
- one week before the approval meeting the authors should make publicly
available a KLOE memo on their analysis. This memo is intended for internal use
only and should contain enough details on procedures, systematics etc. to allow
a critical evaluation.
- if a written contribution is required by the conference/workshop the authors
should extract from the memo a conference note.
- conference notes, proceedings contributions, official papers should be
critically reviewed and approved by an editorial board (EB)(*)
- the editorial board, for help, can appoint referees (i.e. KLoe members expert
on the subject); however the final responsibility for approval remains in the
EB itself.
(*) membership of the EB could be discussed and decided at the Exec in Naples.
