Rules for KLOE invited talk
1) invited talk for thesis presentation etc..can be given. The Policy board
only has to be informed beforehand.
2) invited talks on special topics or subdetectors can be given by a speaker
designated by the subgroup itself (subdetector, working group etc.).
The policy board has to be informed beforehand and so they can review
the choice to see if it follows the general fairness distribution in
the collaboration, for ex. it may happen that a subgroup suggested speaker
has given many, many talks that year, and the board may point that out
to the subgroup to see if they may want to choose an alternate
representative. In this respect, the board encourages the subgroups to
propose each time, if possible, a different speaker, especially among
the youngest members.
3) A person that receives an invitation to give a talk on general status of
KLOE has to inform the policy board well in advance. This gives the board
time to decide the judiciousness of the scope, and suggests who should
represent KLOE.
