The audio inside KLOE DAQ is based on the Network Audio System (NAS), developed by the Network Computing Devices, Inc.
The NAS is a network based audio system. It can be used to play audio files on most NCD X-Terminals and other machines equiped with the NAS server. At the time of writing, the NAS server has been successfuly tested on HP-UX and SunOS workstations.
It is distributed as freeware and can be downloaded from ftp://ftp.X.org/contrib/audio/nas/.
