Minutes KLOE PB meeting held on November 2nd 2006 at LNF

1) General comments:

   - Budgetary constraints for KLOE speakers might be significant 
     in the next year;

   - KLOE enters a phase in which talks can be divided in 3 categories:
     1 - talks stemming from personal and/or special invitation;
     2 - talks to specialized workshops/conferences, related to Kloe WG's activities;
         if the speaker(s) suggested by the conveners is(are) chosen, it
         is understood that the conveners accept the responsility to assit
         the speakers to prepare theirs talks before rehearsals.
     3 - talks to general conferences (can be assigned also to give personal 
         visibility); it is understood that all KLOE general talks should include a
         subsection pertaing to KLOE's future.

   - In categories 1 and 2 speaker assignment should not strictly follow 
     a criterion based on the score list.

   - People contributing to KLOE but not doing analysis should pertain to
     category 3.

   - For talks of category 2, WG conveners are invited to propose 
     the best speaker from the scientific point of view, regardless
     of any other constraint; the latter, if any, will be considered 
     by the policy board in the final decision.
