Runlog errors and recommended actions

List of errors during the run and recommended actions.

Message: fibm05 celemaker: Wrong DMAP association (loop 87/127):dmap_get: Channel nr out of range. (CAL chain = 9 crate = 3 slot = 14 chan = 30)

• Explanation: The board in slot 14, crate 3, chain 6 signals a channel 30 while the allowed range is 0-29
• Action: Continue the run and advise the calorimeter expert. Perhaps the replacement of the board is needed.

Message: l2axnn l2collector: ERROR in DFC setup, cages =

• Explanation: Error in Init run. VIC 8251 is not properly setup
• Action: Switch off and switch on the L2 crate in chain "nn" using the following procedure:
  • In Slow control windown choose:
    
    "DAQ console" - "Console" - L2 Crates (in Chain)
    - L2_Ch_nn (in Crate) - OFF (in Turn)
  • Control that l2axnn doesn't respond to the command
    
    ping l2axnn
  • Repeat the previous procedure with ON (in Turn). Execute the command
    
    telnet l2axnn
    
    and wait for response. It takes about 5 minutes.

Message: ERROR in starting cmdsrv on calib node

• Explanation: Communication between krunc and the CALIB node (presently fibm08) does not work properly
• Action: Don't stop the run because cmdsrv on fibm08 is automatically restarted. Login on fibm08 as daq and check that the /tmp area is used less that 100% with the command
  df /tmp

  Free space deleting files owned by user daq.
