Drift Chamber Study




There has been significant progress in the drift chamber studies carried
out by Alberto Panzarasa and Aldo Zenoni. The is now a clear understanding
of the residues. The DCH cells have been modeled using GARFIELD and taking
into account the angle of incidence of the incoming track. The residue
distributions have non-Gaussian tails due to multiple scattering of the
cosmic ray muons in the scintillator used for triggering during data
acquisition. 

There is a new WEB page with information about ongoing work and
achievements of the FINUDA offline group. It will be updated regularly.
