REMEMBER

We are now in condition of data daking.
This means that we have to record data
using always the trigger: HYP.OR.BHABHA in order to reach the foreseen
statistics in this first phase of FINUDA on DAFNE.
Also, we need to collect as much as possible statistics of "good" events
for the next, beginning of December 2003, meeting of the Scientific
Committee.
HENCE, any different trigger or any different usage of machine time
must be limited only to tests that are essential for the main scope
of the experiment.

During any shift a control of critical performances must be performed
using the monitor program and the event display. This is a DUTY of any
shifter. Soon it will be created also web page, called ONLINE QUALITY
CHECKS, to continuosly monitor sensitive quantities during data taking.

Moreover, during any shift a continuous  control of the count rates
and trip events of detectors is mandatory, acting promptly on the DAFNE
teams to inform that their actual handling of beams is dangerous for us
if trips and peak countings are too much frequent.

Any time machine development is under way, the following detectors
must be swhitched off before the dafne team starts:
microvertex and tofino. While the Drift Chambers must be put to a lower,
safe, HV configuration.

All groups are requested to inform L.Passamonti of any electronic
modules sent to repair using the LNF central store.
Moreover, the existing spares of critical modules should be clearly
marked in the armairs in control room.

In the week 17-23 November  two periods of machine development are
foreseen: the days of 18 and 20 November. In this periods in principle
the DAFNE hall could be accessible, but this it not granted. While it is
always possible to perform our tests in control room in such periods.
This situation will be repated also the next weeks, with at least one day
dedicated to machine development.
During the machine development, the shift is not suppressed, and shifters
have to stay in control room checking the leakage currents of microvertex,
acting toward dafne team if they become dangerous.
