The FINUDA Online Monitoring
and Event Display System, unlike the Data Acquisition and the Reconstruction
Software, is based on an Object Oriented approach, in the framework of
the ROOT package, recently developed
at CERN.
ROOT is a comprehensive object
oriented framework that provides a solid foundation on which large scale
data analysis applications can be built. It allows the data handling with
a high level of interactivity, by providing a C/C++ interpreter and a class
library with the possibility to be integrated by user-defined classes.
