Mini-stage in Modern Physics: challenges and opportunities

August, 4-5 2014

The mini-stage, to be held in the period August, 4-5 2014, is open to about 10 outstanding students in the last years of high-school/college. It is going to be organized in lectures and discussions on Modern Physics and its applications in Society, with the aim to give an overview of what a researcher is doing in his/her laboratory and to attract gifted young students towards a future career in science. The participants will have the opportunity to visit, as well, the main experiments undergoing at LNF-INFN.
The official language is English.
The activity is free of charge, however the participants should provide for travel, accommodation and dinner expenses (lunch is organized at LNF canteen).
Application should be sent at the following e-mail address or fax: COMEDU@LNF.INFN.IT Fax: +39-0694032243
Scientific responsible of the activity: Catalina Oana Curceanu (catalina.curceanu@lnf.infn.it)
Secretary: Marina Scudieri.
