Mi chiamo Giulia, ho 17 anni e frequento il quarto anno del Liceo Classico U. Foscolo di Albano Laziale (RM), ho diversi hobbies, tra cui il sub, leggere, ascoltare la musica e stare con gli amici. Mi piace molto viaggiare tanto che ho avuto l'opportunità di visitare diversi posti nel mondo. Per il futuro vorrei fare qualcosa per aiutare gli altri e che mi permetta di proseguire le mie passioni.

My name is Giulia, I am 17 years old and I attend the fourth year at the Liceo Classico in Albano Laziale (RM), I have many hobbies, such as scuba diving, reading, listening to music and being with friends. I really like travelling, so much that I had the opportunity to visit different places around the world. In the future I would like to do something to help others and that enables me to follow my passions.

Mi chiamo Paolo e frequento il quarto anno al Liceo Scientifico Bruno Touschek di Grottaferrata (RM) (con l'indirizzo sperimentale P.N.I., Piano Nazionale Informatica). Le materie scientifiche (Fisica, Matematica ma anche Chimica e Biologia) mi interessano particolarmente, grazie alle notevoli possibilità di applicazione nel mondo in cui viviamo. La mia passione è la Musica e suono la chitarra elettrica in vari gruppi rock, blues ed heavy metal. Tra i miei artisti preferiti c'è senza dubbio Jimi Hendrix, di cui ammiro e condivido la visione spirituale e trascendentale della musica, ma anche Ritchie Blackmore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Uli Jon Roth, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, e compositori classici come Bach, Vivaldi, Paganini, Mozart...Ho trovato questo stage invernale molto formativo, in quanto aiuta noi studenti ad orientarci nella scelta della facoltà universitaria e offre un'esperienza diretta del lavoro di ricerca scientifica.

My name is Paolo and I attend the fourth year at the Liceo Scientifico B. Touscheck in Grottaferrata (RM). I am particularly interested in the scientific subjects (Physics, Maths but also Chemisty and Biology), thanks to their possible applications in the world in which we live. My passion is music and I play the electric guitar in different rock, blues, and heavy metal groups. Among my favorite artists there are without any doubt Jimi Hendrix, of which I admire the spiritual and trascendental view of music, but also Ritchie Blackmore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Uli Jon Roth, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, and classical composers such as Bach, Vivaldi, Paganini, Mozart…

Mi chiamo Paolo e frequento il quarto anno del Liceo Classico ad indirizzo linguistico James Joyce di Ariccia (RM). Stranamente, i miei interessi spaziano dal campo umanistico a quello scientifico e non posso dire di avere una preferenza certa per l'uno o per l'altro. Mi piace viaggiare e conoscere nuove persone ma gradisco anche stare a casa e leggere un buon libro. Ho anche una passione per gli sport in generale (pallavolo, calcio...), ma preferisco giocarli piuttosto che essere spettatore passivo.

My name is Paolo and I attend the fourth year at the Liceo Linguistico James Joyce in Ariccia (RM). Strangely, my interests space from the humanistic field to that scientific one and I can not say of having a sure preference for one or the other. I like to travel and to know new people but I appreciate also to be to house and to read a good book. I in general terms have also a passion for the sports (volley-ball, soccer…), but I prefer to play them rather than to be watching liabilities.

Frequento il quarto anno di Liceo Scientifico al Bruno Touschek di Grottaferrata (RM). Ho una miriade di interessi tra cui quello della matematica e della fisica ed in particolare mi affascina tutto ciò che riguarda l'universo e il suo "funzionamento". Ho anche una grande passione per lo sport (tennis, calcio e surf), per la vita sociale e per la lettura di quasi ogni genere letterario. Ritengo "Delitto e castigo", "I demoni" ed "Il ritratto di Dorian Gray" i miei libri preferiti. Le citazioni che meglio mi rappresentano sono senz'altro "Carpe diem" e "Sapere aude".

I attend the fourth year at the Liceo Scientifico B. Touscheck in Grottaferrata (RM). I have a lot of interests, such as Maths and Physics, and I am particulary fascinated by everything concerning the universe and how it “works”. I also have a big passion for sport (tennis, football and surf),  for social life and reading every kind of literature. I consider  “Crime and punishment”,  “Deamons” and “The picture of Dorian Gray”, my favourite books. The quotations that best represent me are without any doubt “Carpe diem” and “Sapere aude”.

Frequento il quarto anno del Liceo Classico di Albano Laziale (RM). Ho un temperamento artisitico: amo la musica, che ascolto e suono volentieri. Mi piace viaggiare e sono per natura curioso. Tra le materie che studio più volentieri ci sono quelle scientifiche: la fisica ma soprattutto la matematica. Per il mio futuro sono indeciso se continuare gli studi nel campo della matematica o scegliere quello della psicologia, che anche mi interessa molto.

I attend the fourth year at the Liceo Classico U. Foscolo in Albano Laziale (RM). I have an artistic mind: I love music, which I enjoy listening and playing. I like travelling  and I am naturally curious. Among the subjects that I study with more pleasure there are the scientific ones: Physics but especially Maths. Regarding my future I am not sure whether to continue to study in the field of Maths or to choose that of Psychology,  in which I am really interested.

Mi chiamo Chiara ho 17 anni e frequento il quarto anno al Liceo Linguistico James Joyce di Ariccia (RM), una scuola che ho scelto perchè adoro le lingue e soprattutto l'inglese. Le mie più grandi passioni sono la danza moderna, che pratico da 6 anni, e la lettura: leggo tantissimi libri e dei generi più svariati, da "Twilight" alle opere di Shakespeare! Penso che non potrei mai vivere senza la musica, soprattutto le canzoni di Elisa che sono parte integrante della mia vita di ogni giorno. Ancora non so bene cosa farò da grande perchè ho diversi interessi... Spero solo di fare la scelta giusta!

My name is Chiara, I am 17 years old and I attend the fourth year at the Liceo Linguistico James Joyce in Ariccia (RM), a school that i chose because  I love languages and especially English. My biggest passione are modern dance, which I have been practicing for 6 years, and reading: I read several books of different kinds, from “Twilight” to Shakespeare’s works! I think that I could never live without music, especially Elisa’s songs, which are a fundamental part in my everyday life. I do not know yet what I will do when I grow up because I have a lot of interests… I just hope to make the right choice!
