Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati, Italy
7 - 10 April 2008
FIRST BULLETIN

1. Place and Date.

The "International Workshop on e+e- collisions from phi to psi" (PHIPSI08), will be held at Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati, Italy, from Monday, April 7 to Thursday, April 10 2008. This is the fifth workshop in a series, started in Novosibirsk in 1999 and continued at SLAC (2001), Pisa (2003), and Novosibirsk(2006). The goal of the Workshop is to discuss in detail the state of the art of various problems in hadronic physics at low energy e+e- colliders and the potential of existing and future facilities.

5. Workshop Site

The Workshop will be held in Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati, the birthplace of e+e- colliders. Frascati is located on a pleasant hill about 20 km from Rome. It is particularly renowned for its beautiful villas and quality wines. All information can be accessed online through the web page: http://www.lnf.infn.it/conference/phipsi08/ A valid passport is required for entry in Italy from outside of the European Schengen area. Participants from some countries will also need a visa. Please see http://www.esteri.it/visti/index_eng.asp for details.

6. Contributions and abstracts

Contributions to the workshop will be presemted as invited reviews and talks on specific topics. Physicists interested in contributing to the scientific program are requested to submit a brief abstract (via web page), 120 words or 15 lines maximum, not later than February 1, 2008. Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their contributions.

7. Proceedings

The Proceedings of the Workshop will be published by Elsevier, Nuclear Physics B - Proceeding Supplements. All contributing authors will be asked to prepare a paper to be included in the proceedings and submit it within the deadline reported below. Instructions for manuscripts submission will be given with Bulletin n.2, and will be reported on the Workshop Web page.

8. Registration and Accommodation

People willing to participate should carefully fill in the Registration Form on the web page of the workshop ( http://www.lnf.infn.it/conference/phipsi08/), not later than March 1, 2008. We have reserved for the workshop participants a number of rooms in 3-stars hotels located in Frascati, close to the workshop venue. The price of the single room is about 70 Eur and the price for the double room is about 100 Eur per night, B&B. A shuttle-bus courtesy service will be organized from the hotels to the laboratory. Different accommodations, such as 4-star hotels, are available upon request.
