falconieri



			It consists in the largest part of the former Villa Rufini, built between 1540 and 1550. It receives its name from Cardinal Alessandro Falconieri, who ordered its restoration in 1727. The central palace was designed by Francesco Borromini, while the inside was frescoed by Carlo Maratta and Ciro Ferri, a pupil of Pietro da Cortona.
