You can see submitted abstracts on the web following this link.Anyone who wishes to submit an abstract to the conference must do it by May 1, 2001.
All abstracts received before the deadline will be passed to the rapporteur of the relevant plenary sessions.
The preferred way of submitting abstracts is via WWW. We accept text files only.
We do NOT accept dvi files, pdf files or ps files.
If you can not use WWW submission,e-mail may be used.
Note that we do not accept abstracts sent by fax or ordinary mail.The organizing committee will not make any abstracts publicly available before the Conference.
They will be transferred to rapporteur only.
Papers relevant to the scientific program may be submitted to the Symposium.
The papers will be available on the Los Alamos preprint archive site;
the authors, titles, abstracts, and links to Los Alamos will be available on the LP01 web site.
The list of submitted papers (but not the papers themselves) will be included in the Proceedings.
Early submission is encouraged, and papers will be publicly available as soon as they are submitted.
Authors who wish to keep results confidential until the Symposium may communicate privately with the Invited Speakers and delay submission until the deadline of June 15, 2001.You can see submitted papers on the web following this link
To contribute a full paper to LP01, please first register your paper at the Los Alamos archive.
Once you have the Los Alamos archive number, please go to the submission page and register the number with us.Large collaboration can submit their papers directly to LP01 and
place the contributed paper in their collaboration's official web page.
In this case, you should:
- label your paper as "Contributed Paper for LP01",
- after the submission you are invited to keep the contents of the paper and the URL UNCHANGED.
Please do not send us the actual papers.
The deadline for submission is June 15, 2001.The papers contributed before the deadline will be passed on to the rapporteur of the appropriate plenary sessions.

Transparencies of the talks will be made available on the web after delivery of the talk.
Since projection will be through a PC driven LCD projector hanging from the ceiling, talks should be prepared as computer files.
We will provide help in exceptional cases.Detailed instructions for transparencies can be downloaded HERE (pdf file)
We also provide a LaTeX class file LP01sli.cls, a LaTeX example file Example.tex, and two Encapsulated Postscript figures Fig1.eps, Fig2.eps.
The final output slide file in PDF format should look like this: Example3.pdf.
You can easily convert your Postscript file into PDF for free and without installing any software through the ps2pdf.com Web site:

The Lepton Photon 2001 conference proceedings will be published by the World Scientific Publishing.
Every speaker in the conference is requested to follow the instructions for preparing a manuscript of the talk and submitting it to the proceedings. The speakers can see the www.worldscientific.com web site following the button
For Authors and then Proceedings Style Files. Please choose the style 10" x 7"
Click here if you want to reach directly the templates.Page limit is approximately 1 page per 2 minutes, for example: 22 pages for a 45' talk and 15 pages for a 30' talk.
Submission deadline is October 15, 2001.
Please, register your paper first at the Los Alamos archive.
The archive number of your paper, together with the complete collection of source files (LaTeX and .ps or .eps figures) should be sent by attachment to the following e-mail address:lp01proc@lnf.infn.it
