BULLETIN

HADRON2007 is the 21st in a series of bi-annual conferences which began in 1985 in Manchester, UK. The scope is to review the present status and achievements in hadron spectroscopy and the related aspects of hadron dynamics.

This conference will be organized by the INFN at the Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati, where the only running Phi-factory in the world is located.

Venue and Date
The conference will be held from October 8th to 13th, 2007 at the Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati of INFN (Italy). Frascati is the most famous of the so called "Castelli Romani", a series of small towns in the hills overlooking Rome to the south-east. The centre of Rome is easily accessible by train in 20 minutes.

Scientific Programme
The topics to be discussed as part of the scientific programme are the following:

- spectroscopy of light and heavy quark mesons;
- baryons;
- quarkonia;
- glueballs, hybrids and multiquarks;
- phenomenological models;
- effective lagrangians;
- QCD on the lattice;
- hadrons in matter;
- heavy ion collisions;
- future facilities.

The programme will consist of plenary, parallel and poster sessions.The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) is in the process of inviting the speakers for the plenary talks. In addition the LOC will select the talks for the parallel sessions and the contributions for the poster sessions among the abstracts submitted before May 31, 2007.
To date the invited talks for the plenary sessions include:
Hadronic physics: Status and Perspectives; Historical Talk on the Hadron Spectroscopy; Lattice-QCD in Hadron Physics; Perturbative Theory and Regge Behaviour; Antiproton Physics at FAIR; Medium effects in pi/K-nuclear interactions; BES II-Recent Results and Future Aspects; Spectroscopy Experiments at JLAB; Hadronic physics at Juelich ; Hadrons in Medium; The Sigma, Kappa-problem in the scalar meson sector; Experimental approaches in Meson spectroscopy; Hadron Physics with BaBar; Hadron Physics with Belle; Status of QCD; Heavy Ion Phenomenology; Hadrons and Strings; Light Hadrons in Chiral perturbation Theory; Lattice QCD in Hadron Physics; Hadron Physics at the Tevatron; Prospects for Hadron Physics at LHC Experiments.

Poster Sessions

Poster Sessions will be held in the morning, from Tuesday through Thursday, during the coffee breaks. The available space is 110cm x 85cm (height x width).

Call for Contributions
A single-page abstract for each contribution is required and must be sent by means of the Registration web-page of the Conference. The deadline for abstract submission is May 31, 2007.

Conference Proceedings
The conference proceedings, which will be published, will include invited talks as well as oral and poster contributions. The deadline for the submission of contributions is November 30, 2007.

Registration and Accommodation
The form to register and book a hotel in the vicinity of the laboratory is available on the conference web-page. Special accommodation rates have been negotiated with the hotels in the list and a suitable number of rooms have been reserved till June 30, 2007. A shuttle-bus courtesy service will be organized from the hotels to the laboratory.

Registration Fee
The registration fee is 350 EUR, to be paid at the conference desk in cash, eurocheques, traveller cheques or cheques from Italian banks. Credit cards cannot be accepted. The Registration Fee includes a conference-kit, transportation from/to the hotels in the list on the Conference web-page, lunches, social events, coffee breaks and a copy of the proceedings. Banquet and excursion tickets for accompanying persons will be sold at the conference desk.

Transportation
Frascati is located 20 km South-East of Rome and about 40 km West of "Fiumicino" Airport or 20km from Ciampino Airport. The Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati are 2 km from the centre of Frascati. For detailed instructions on how to reach Frascati, please refer to the laboratory web-page: http://www.lnf.infn.it/lnfadmin/travel/travel.html
