r-ECFA meeting in Italy

Restricted ECFA is a sub committee of ECFA (European Committee for Future Accelerators) which evaluates the particle physics & astroparticle physics projects in each of the ECFA member states about once every seven years.

The previous visit of r-ECFA committee to Italy was in May 2004.
A midterm report was given at CERN in November 2009.

The next meeting will be held at the National Laboratory of Frascati (LNF) on October 5th-6th.
A status report on the National planning for:
      » university education and research in scientific field;
      » the major initiatives in theoretical and experimental physics;
      » the advanced technology research;
      » the outreach
is given.
