Lecture topics include: wall-crossing, multicenter black holes, BPS and non-BPS solutions, microstate counting, black hole entropy, attractor flows, N=4 partition functions.

This is the fifth school in a series of lectures and discussions held in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 at the INFN – Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati on the general theme of supersymmetry, supergravity, black holes and black strings:

All lectures are for beginners. Part of the afternoon sessions will be dedicated to training, solving of problems proposed in the lectures and collaboration. The number of participants is restricted to 40 people, on a first come first served basis.

Registration should be done before 30 April 2011, by sending a message to: bellucci@lnf.infn.it and filling the registration form which can be found in this website. Time will be allotted for short presentations of recent original results by attendees. Attendees wishing to present their results should send an abstract before 20 April 2011 to: bellucci@lnf.infn.it.

 

There is a 400 Euro fee (200 Euro reduced fee for PhD students), to be paid on the premises in cash only. The fee includes coffee and lunch breaks, a social dinner on Thursday May 12th.

Hotel reservation is the responsibility of the participants.
