Marie Curie Individual Fellowships


The Laboratori Nazionali di Frascatiare open  to young post-doctoral level researchers who would like to perform a research in theoretical or experimental physics, with the support of a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (category 30).

Applicants must be nationals of a European Union member state (excluding Italy) or an associated state, or have been residing in the Community for at least the last five years, age under 35 and have a PhD degree (or equivalent level of education) or 4 years' full-time research activities at post- graduate level. Furthermore the candidates should not have carried out reaserch activities in Italy for more than 12 months in the last two years. 

They  should apply directly to the European Commission, proposing a project and a host organisation.  In order to prepare the proposal and obtain the LNF approval (the application forms must be signed by the LNF authorities), they should contact the person responsible for the activity of interest well in advance respect to the deadlines listed below.

Fellows will be employed under the EU's general conditions governing the Marie Curie Individual fellowships and will receive an allowance in Euro per month to cover subsistence and mobility expenses, tax and social security contributions and cost of attending conferences, travel expenses, etc...
